I remember playing kissing tag at your fifteenth birthday party! I worry that I offend you. But I worry about everything. So try not to take it personally. :)

I like the pile of books that suddenly appears sometimes when there is no one around. It's funny to think how much fun she had doing it. I am sorry I had a headache, I still enjoyed being there with you. Sometimes I sit, think, and wish that I was there for you earlier in your life. But I would not have been a good influence, nor would I have been accepted yet. We will get you another ring, and yes.. I will pay for it so you don't have to think about the money hand over ;)
I hope one day our girls meet someone like me, only more dependable. You inspire me you know, I thought I might mention it before I was done here :)

WOW! What a wonderful and enlightening post. I am always amazed at how we perceive ourselves compared to how others see us. It seems we are much harder on ourselves than we should.

You are not a horrible Mother. I am continually impressed at how well you do with so little... little space, little help, little money, BIG heart.

I shared with Val your posts about loving math and running calculations in your mind just for fun. He just shook his head and sighed. Actually, I think it was an "ugh." Math is not something he enjoys at all ("There's no pictures" as he puts it) and so he is completely perplexed to hear about people who love it and love running the numbers!

Knowing how shy you are, it's funny to learn about your 15th birthday party and the kissing tag. Life is such a contradiction at times, isn't it?

As I recall, you finished the dress you made and I know you finished the baby blanket. So, you should give yourself more credit than to say you attempted to sew twice. You get to put those 2 things in your "Completed" column instead of the "attempted" column.

This was a wonderful post, Heather. Thanks for taking the time.
