I sent this

email out to my ward, what do you think?
"I am writing this email knowing that it is one thing that I can do to be prepared for when my baby comes. I am due to have a little boy June 20, give or take a week or so. I have no family to help, my father is dead mother is bi-polar manic depressant and in-laws will be busy with their own expectant daughter at the time that I am due. My husband, has a major sleeping disorder and will help with what he can.

I am looking for individuals who:

1.Would be willing to let me call them when I go in to labor and watch my three other children. If you could let me know if you would be willing to be called at any hour of the night or just during the day that would be great.

2.Would be willing to help with meals for the first little while after the baby is born.

3.Might consider taking the older children out to play at the park or play with any children that you may have for an hour or two once or twice a week after the baby comes. So that I may catch up on sleep or be able to shower, etc.

Any other help is appreciated. It would be wonderful to know who would be willing to help. It is hard to know wit hour ward who is willing, who will be living here in June or who may be out of town. I am grateful for your replies and willingness to serve ahead of time.

Thank you,
Heather"

I have a hard time asking for help and have no idea what people will think of getting that email. I announced my pregnancy early on knowing that I could use help. But after seven months, now I am specifically asking for it. I personally feel really weird sending that out especially knowing that I may not really know many of them. But if any of them are like me, I love to help people and I hope some of them have the same outlook that I have on things like this.

pay it forward

So Here it goes...

The first five people to comment on this post will get something in the mail from me, or at your door step (depending on how far you are). Here's the catch....If you are one of the five commenter's, you have to put a similar post on your blog. This keeps us all busy and thinking of others for a while. Serving other's is a great way for me to get my mind off of things that shouldn't be there... have fun! If you aren't local, I will ship!

Two Parties!

We went to two parties, my kids were so excited!!
pardon the horrible pictures, they are from my phone!

There was a St. Patricks Day party at our neighbors preschool that her school attends. We did face painting and leprechaun bingo first. Kacen got a green snake that went from his chin to his ear and had a red tongue sticking out. Alona had a rainbow with fluffy clouds and Abbi a purty flower. Then we decorated shamrock cookies and waited for a very long time for the balloon guy to get to us(40 min)! It was a good thing that it was a preschool, Kacen played with the toys while we waited for our turn at the balloons. He kept coming up and asking if he was making his motorcycle yet though. Kacen had a motorcycle made that was just like the one he was holding, Abbi got tinkerbell, the balloon guy did a great job! And Alona got a flower.
We then went and did the crafts, a pot of gold with a rainbow made on a paper plate, they got to use glitter for the gold. They made a leprechaun puppet with cut outs and glitter, these are really cute. I wish that I had pictures of those. Abbi decided that hers was not going to be a regular leprechaun. His face's mouth was not turned up it was just flat and she wanted circles not ovals for eyes, her hat was unique too. She wanted the buckle at the very top instead of the bottom.
We then went to the Fairy tea party at the Provo Library. The girls had a lot of fun, they were dressed up as fairies with their own little set of wings. There was a ballet performance and refreshments, little muffins, chocolate dipped cookies, strawberries and tarts, mmm. Then they were able to take pictures with the fairy King and his court. They also received their own tiaras and wands.
Today was a warm and wonderful day we spent over an hour at the park playing and they were actually taping an episode to a television show just a few houses down from the park. We came home and watched Kung Fu panda together and had popsicles together, I want another one Abbi said, so Kacen reaches in to the box and hands out seconds to every one. I have green! Kacen says..how did my little boy turn out so smart all ready??

*I get contractions, they hurt too! I have been having them for forty min about three minutes a part. Braxton Hicks?
Probably, I need to get up and get moving and see if they stop.
*I hit Paul's car today! I was backing out to bring dinner and children to his work and he was pulling in. No damage thank goodness, great that I was only going about 2 miles an hour!

motorcycle gift

A long answer to a not so simple question...

Papa:Where did you get that motorcycle?
Kacen: from a box
Papa: Who gave you the box?
Kacen: Mom did
Mom: Mommy opened the box, who gave you the box?
Kacen Grandma! Grandma gave me the motorcycle!

ouch

I had my 24 week appt at the Doctor. Just the regular, weight, blood pressure, measuring abdomen for the first time(measuring right on). I was afraid of the scale, I have been avoiding it. I know I eat too much when pregnant. So I gained 8 lbs in 4 weeks, and so "I've gained a little". I need to find foods that can fill me and are more healthy, so that I can look good after this baby!

But anyway, I brought the only question I could remember up to him. "Is it normal to be hurting this early?" Yes with being pregnant before I am more susceptible to stretching/pains. The ultrasound machine just happened to be in the room that I was put in. So he looks and Jesse's head is down low enough to be causing pain too! He is resting his cranium on my cervix, my bones down there hurt! It hurts to walk, it really hurts to run. Having to run across the street after moving Paul's car is not pleasant. I go to exercise at the stake center and when they are jumping around, I just stare...uh-huh maybe in four more months!
I am thinking the walking video that I have sounds nice.
