Paul has an older camera that isn't used very often at all.So I was browsing through the card that is on it because this was the only camera that I could find to take pictures on Easter morning. And on the camera were pictures that I had never seen before. Paul had to have been the one to take the pictures.I just had to share these precious pictures, this amazing find, these three year old pictures that I had never seen. The picture of her in the car seat she must have been between 6 and 8 weeks old and the other just a few days old, Paul was holding her in the chair in the basement of his mother's house while Brandon was playing the dancing video game (don't ask me what it was called!) and Paul was getting her to look around getting different angles of her.

Easter
Alona is at the age where she goes totally on her own, she even found a special egg up in the tree that the daddy easter bunny must have hid. Alona, the oldest of our children couldn't even reach it, so Mom helped her. We went to the Provo City Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning,
Kacen kept running off and trying to get away from me while at the park before the egg hunt. Good thing he just wanted to visit the nearby strollers and didn't go to far. Abbi had me hold her until right before the hunt she was so cold and shivering, her teeth were chattering. Alona took pictures of Abbi and I, I can't wait for her photography skills to improve and am so glad that Abbi and I were visible in the picture!
Our egg dying was a different experience all together. We all decorated three eggs . Paul had done an
Abbi our little energy filled loving little girl, had fun she loves all the attention that she can get. She wore grandma Ruthie's bunny ears, while enjoying the easter egg hunt at her grandparents house. She got a game of pick up sticks in a carrot and a duck purse and a wind sock. Both girls had to have their wind socks opened at Grandma's house and hang them there.
Ruth, Alona and I went shopping to get the girls Easter dresses and got some cute ones. I am glad to have Ruth and Marta in my life it is great having some one who participates in mine and my children's lives. Alona got a cute purple dress and Abbi a cute polka dotted pink one. Abbi was so ecstatic about the bloomers that came with her dresses. Ruth and Val did a great job with the Easter egg hunts, some of the things were hard to find and the kids had a great time, they didn't want to leave.
Saturday night I had Paul go out and get two other special eggs, Kacen had made out with an Elmo egg at the store and so he went and got a Dora and a Diego egg. One had an alligator in it the other tattoos. The girls walked out in to the back yard on Sunday morning and the first egg that they found was the Elmo one, when they were told that it was Kacen's there was no mention of "where's mine" or " I want one!" They were delighted to give it to their brother and went on their merry way.

Sam's his name, but what is the other guy's name?

Alona is so reading! Dr. Seuss is amazing to have created such books as he did. Alona completed Green Eggs and Ham today. And what a fitting day to do it, being St.Patricks Day and all. Green glorious green.
Here are a few of the words that are in the book:

Blue Tongues
Friday was a nice warm day, Paul went to the car wash and shined up the car. I was able to take a nap that my body so needed. I had stayed up the night before, started and finished a book. It is called Tangled Roots by G.G. Vandagriff. The book was a mystery that involved doing genealogy, research and genograms to solve family problems, I thoroughly enjoyed it and then I found out after I read the book that this is the third book in the series, I missed the other two.
Here is a brief synopsis:
I borrowed another book from the library yesterday, I will see how it goes, It is a book that was recommended to me, I thought that it was a mystery like the last one that I read. Come to find out that it is a romance but it is written by an lds author so it shouldn't delve too deep into describing scenes of intimacy.
Sunday we went to Grandma's to wish both uncles a belated happy birthday and mainly visit with family which we always enjoy. Kacen kept me on my toes, following him around the house making sure that he didn't slip and fall down the stairs and that he didn't get into things he shouldn't be. Grandma has a new box of chickens, they all enjoyed watching them.
Kacen keeps expanding every day on the words that he says. Today(Wednesday) he said "socks" and "shoes" at our WIC appointment while getting him undressed. On Sunday when his Grandma told him that she loved him, he said "no" he had never said that before, and oh what the moment for it to come out. He also said "dirt" on Sunday while we were outside looking at the dirt in the pots.
We went on a walk Monday morning, Abbi held on to Cozy she was so happy her face was exuberant to be running with her. We saw two new baby lambs and played on a swing set and in the sand box. One of the lambs was caged in with the picanese dogs, the lamb would run and jump with them and jump on their backs, that was new to watch!
