We are on our second round of trying to treat the thrush that we have. And with the over the counter medicine that we are trying. The baby turns violet. He looks like a little hobo or something that has not shaved in a little while, poor thing. Its kind of funny to look at and makes me a little sad that my super cute baby is violet.

I tried the violet stuff on my boys and it didn't work - what worked the best was a prescription called Nystatin (I hope that's how you spell it). But hopefully you have better luck with the purple stuff. It tastes awful!! Thrush is SUCH a pain!
We didn't have luck with the purple stuff either. And Nystatin (what Camille wrote) sounds familiar... But Jesse looks cute covered in Purple too! :)
Jesse has been on Nystatin and I have taken Newmans Ointment and neither have worked yet.
So now I am on diflucan and gentian violet. I could also go pick up more nystatin then we would have tons of meds goin through us hoping something works. Man this thrush is the most painful annoying thing EVER!!
