Kacen does not like going to bed(never has). Tonight I was holding his door knob, he had come out many times and I kept putting him back in his room. This is the little conversation that he had with himself when I was holding it shut. I couldn't help but laugh while standing there.
The door is shut!
Mom shut the door...
Its not nice to shut the door!
Its dark!
Its locked!
ITS NOT NICE TO LOCK IT!!!!! (with increased enthusiasm)

With my boys, we had to put the lock on the OUTSIDE of the door so we could lock them in. We learned our lesson in our old house when DarTanion climbed onto the counters in the middle of the night, took everything out of one of the cupboards and left the fridge open.

I love the minds of small children, it's just so awesome with what they can come up with, I wish I had as much creativity. I work on it everyday, only to be told I am weird :(
