Curtain Call

1.Alona's ballet recital Sleeping Beauty was on Saturday. She did awesome! She was a forest fairy, dressed in a purple tutu with pink wings the prince came and danced around them and then he lept off stage and they all stood up and did their part. We couldn't take pictures of the actual recital and I tried to take pictures of her when I left her i the balcony to sit and wait for her part but that didn't turn out. After the program I was too overwhelmed with the kids and getting dinner that I spaced off taking a picture then. I took pictures at her rehearsal but for some reason they are not on my camera, but she did have professional pictures taken, I will have to find a way to get them on here. She has grown to love ballet, I really don't know if she will take it next year. She wants to take soccer and so I've signed her up for that, who knows if I want to or will do both. We came home and had a barbecue with Paul's dad, Ruth, my sister and her boys. It turned out good we had fun and there was plenty of food, and I was the griller! I did a Pretty good job for it only being my first time barbecuing. My sister made some pumpkin bars and kacen decides that he doesn't need silverware, he was walking around with his face planted in the plate eating his dessert.
2. My potted garden is flourishing.I have two huge pumpkin vines. I have never watched a pumpkin grow from beginning to end and am not sure at what point the pumpkins are actually supposed to emerge, but they are long, green, flowering and beautiful. I have two squash plants that could use a bigger pot soon they are flowering also . I also have bibb lettuce, that is a new experience, I just pick the leaves off as they grow. There is no head to wait for. There are five tomato plants three of one breed two of another. The two are producing fruit, thats right I have tomatoes! The other ones are blossoming but nothing has come of them yet, I wonder what different kinds of tomatoes will come of them.
3.Paul's Graduation ceremony was last Thursday. How exciting to know that it is getting so close, the final day of being done with this school.He has eight classes left which is equivalent to four months of school if they give him two classes each month like they are supposed to and if not it could be drawn out in to eight months. His graduation is the only celebration that we will really get with family, so it was nice that his sisters, nieces, Mom, Kelly and my grandparents came. Though we have been talking about Disneyland next year.
There were bag pipes and the Lieutenant Governor of Utah came and spoke. The bag pipes were neat, they played many songs including Danny Boy. The Lieutenant Governor was the best speaker that I noticed. Kacen and I left after Paul was called up there, he was a little too restless.

long time, long story

So I have been trying to get on here for a while now and my password just wasn't working until today, so here goes...
1.My cousin's wedding was definitely a different and new experience. Never before had I been to a ceremony where there was a unity candle, prayers and songs being sang. Neither of them are religious so this baffled me besides the fact that I had never experienced this even when the couple were religious. My cousin Tyler and his wife were truly be-au-ti-ful, their faces were lit up and they are truly so happy together. I am so blessed to have been invited, My sister and I were the only cousins that were invited due to the fact that we were more like sisters, I guess. We lived with Tyler, Brittney and my Aunt and Uncle Tiffany and Michael for a few years after we came out of foster care, for me it was four years. So Tyler was nine when we moved in, there are some embarrasing things that he did at that age, he was fun to be around and play with had a sense of humor and loved sports. One thing we could always count on Tyler for was sitting on the couch at the end of the day with a bowl of popcorn whether it was a movie or a show that was on. When I went to visit last time I was offered a bowl! I'm glad that he has found someone. The song that was played that I remember was, "God blessed the Broken Road".

2.We had playgroup on Wednesday before I called Laura. There were four ladies there and their children. One of them brought some boxes and we used exacto knives to cut doors and shape windows, triangles, squares and circles.The children enjoyed playing with each other, seeing how many children could fit in one box house, Alona liked writing all of their names on their box. It was a great one last time playing with their friend Jaime that moved today.
3.Laura flew to Utah a week ago today. Tara went in to labor on Wednesday, which was perrfect! It was Paul's day off. I was actually supposed to meet up with Laura on Tuesday but her and Kellie were sick so I called her on Wednesday to see how she was doing and she said that she was at the hospital waiting for her Dad to call back, she had left a message asking him to watch Kellie. So I had Paul call when he got home from school, I wanted to do so0mething to help, Marta and Tara were together and I of course could do nothing there, so we asked Laura if we could watch Kellie! She was asleep when we arrived at the hospital. So Laura woke her up and gave her a moment to get used to our faces before we took off down the road with her. She seemed to take a real liking to us.We took her to Wheeler Farm so that Kellie and our kids could see the animals. Paul caught them a duck that they were able to pet, one of the most dirtiest friendliest and hungriest ducks ever! Sweet duck though, it sat so very still while Paul held it and the children brushed their hands up against its feathers. Kacen got up and personal with the Clydesdale's , not by choice I might add. It brought it's wet snout right up to his face, that freaked him out.
We then took them out to Sizzler, I remembered that children three and under were free, and well hey we had three of them with us. But I did forget that an adult salad bar was nine dollars and then of course their was still Alona and Paul, not that bad priced for six people though. It was so fun to watch the children eat , Kellie poked at her salad while Kacen gobbled his up, she threw her brownie and poked holes in her toast, she did like some of the pizza and fruit. Abbi is my fruit cake, once one of the children has gotten their dessert she automatically wants hers and exclaims that she is done! And when that happens she REFUSES to eat any more.
So when the dinner was finished we went and played at Grandma's all alone while Daddy did his homework. Laura came and had them watch signing time while she took a shower and then we were off, the baby was coming! We made it there right as she was being born. She is a real cutie, Alona and I were able to see her Paul and the others will have to wait until next time, it was past ten when she was born and Alona and I were let in to the room after ten thirty and just got a glimpse of her, the grandparents were busy holding her. They named her Payton Scarlet Wood, forgive me if I spelled it wrong! I'll have to ask how it is spelled! She was 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 1/2 inches. BIG BABY!
4.On Friday morning we were off to Fish Lake. I borrowed the neighbors fishing poles so at least we could try it and make our dear sweet daughter Alona happy, she really wanted to go fishing. The first night it was literally freezing cold. Our sleeping arrangements were not the best and so the next night we fixed that Paul put the sleeping bags together and zipped them up. The girls will need warmer sleeping bags for next year. We went fishing after dinner, well we tried. The adult poles weren't quite the ones that we were used to. The reel had a metal flip on it instead of a button to release the line. So we couldn't figure them out. And so we tried the child's Dora the Explorer fishing pole, it went farther than the others, but just didn't work out. I wish for our children's sake that it had.
Saturday morning we went for a hike up in to the forest behind our tent. The girls were enjoying it especially mounting all of the big rocks that were up there. Paul was gathering wood for the fire and he is just not one for this kind of stuff. So Paul and the girls turned around and I kept on going with Kacen in my arms, it is beautiful up there! The forest right behind our tent ended and there was a space of dry bush that I went around and passed and climbed to the top it before I knew that I should turn around for Kacen's sake, I took some pictures before we did.

They had a lot of fun playing at the water's edge, we went down to the water on Saturday while Paul was taking a nap. At first they were throwing rocks in to the water from a good distance away and then they just kept inching closer, well Abbi did and Kacen followed! And before I knew it they were up past their knees in the water, mud and seaweed playing with the rocks and getting wet. We also took the wagon around the campground loop while he was asleep and our little Abbi wanted to pull her sister and brother around. She is so helpful, strong willed and determined. She did a great job going as far as she did. She also wanted to hep Mom change Kacen a few days ago and wanted to help me make the potato salad while we were up camping. She peeled the potatoes with me.
I told Kacen to say cheese while he was sitting on the camping table and instead he reached his arms out, "Mommy!" He wanted me to pick him up instead. He is a real jabber box lately I cannot keep up with all of the words that he says any more and he is signing more too. He says "lets eat" and signs it while he says it. Today he said it about five times and it really is every time that he is hungry. When he would say it, I would give him food and it would be gone so very quickly. And even with all the snacks that he ate he still ate his meals, which was so nice. With the girls they say that they are hungry, I give them a snack and then they don't eat their dinner even though the snack was an hour or two before the meal.
5.We drove home on Sunday morning and it was a great trip. Paul was mentioning that he wanted a soda, I was like you're going to buy one on Sunday? So he passed the gas station and we came along a vending machine where he gets a bottled soda. He comes back in to the van and says something to the effect, we are blessed for obeying?! I tell him yeah...at this point I wasn't sure where he was going with it. He tells me that he found a dollar on the ground in front of the vending machine. The soda cost $1.00.

6. Fathers Day was alright Paul helped me unload and took a shower and started on his homework. I started cleaning up and gave the children baths and myself a shower. We had found out that Val was going to Caren's for dinner, so I called Caren and asked her if it would be all right if we came too. And so the kids got in the car and we went and daddy stayed here to do homework. He was able to get three of his programs done that he had for homework while we were gone.
Kacen and Kellie seemed to have fun together. Kacen saw Kellie eating mashed potatoes and he wanted some too and who wouldn't with the KFC gravy smothering the top?! Kacen made a new friend, Paul's aunt Ellen's husband Steve..After Grandpa had played a little rough with the children I was trying to get Kacen calmed down he had given two hugs and then with out my prompting went up to Steve and gave him hugs and kisses and didn't want to let go, it was the sweetest thing.
Grandma Caren played the piano for the children and all of them wanted to help out.
We went home to Paul a little after 8:00 and he let the children help open his present from them and then they were able to see him use it before they got ready for bed. We got him a thing that you can plug in to his usb and it emits scents that are nice.
7. I have been READING lately!! I read a saga called A Banner Unfurled. I really like the books. My Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather (Edmund Durfee) is a missionary that goes to the family, and he is in the books on more than one occasion. On page 179 in book one! I love the story of this family and I love historical fiction and this one floats my boat! I am also currently reading Angels and Demons and three others are waiting for me to peruse under their covers.

Beginning of Summer

We had our family home Evening on Wednesday, our lesson was on safety. Paul told them a story about Pete the Possum and the safety rules that his mother had given him and he didn't listen, he wasn't supposed to sleep hanging upside down unless his tail was tightly wound around the branch and it wasn't, so he fell. He needed band-aids for that and other things that happened, the girls put band-aids on their pictures of Pete. We had chocolate chip cookies made from a recipe in Alona's cookbook. She gave me the book, "here Mom, make the cookies." "Don't you want to help?" "I'll do the chocolate chips", and she went to play outside until everything was finished but the chocolate chips. Abbi and Kacen stayed to help and enjoyed it. Kacen is real good at dumping the sugar in and Abbi held real still as I poured the vanilla in to the measuring spoon. After the lesson, we got our swimming suits on and headed for Seven Peaks to go swimming.
It took us 25 minutes to walk there and then we had 20 minutes to play. And we had fun, it was just so nice to go with Paul. I had gone on Tuesday with just me and the kids and sitting in the waves for an hour holding two children, not the greatest thrill. Paul gave them piggy back rides swimming around in the water. The waves didn't come on which was good, the younger children got a little too much water in them last time from the
waves. On Tuesday when I went with the kids we left Alona's brand new sandals at the park, we left right at closing time and were more than half way home before she told me that we didn't have them. I figured that they would be ok figuring that it was closing time and thought that an employee would just put them in the lost and found. But when I went back looking for them on Wednesday morning and evening they were not there, so we figure that someone swiped her brand new $20 shoes. Ouch, a big hit to our pocket book and sad little girl, especially going to get a new pair, money we don't have at the moment.
We were walking home and caught this sight. What a beautiful sunset. The rays of sun are shining through a break in the clouds and there was a perfect spot where you could see it all through the trees.
On Thursday after dance class, I had a little one who was throwing a fit. Not wanting to get out of the van and walk to the cart with me and so got put in to the baby seat of the cart. Of course this was not desirable, so the entire time Mommy told this child that if they sat down safely for two minutes they could walk the rest of the time, being that the way that were sitting was unsafe. At the end it turned out ok they got to push the cart in to the cart corral, and while there a lady came up and commented, "You are a Patient Mother." She had witnessed me dealing with my child's fit and how I handled it, it was really nice to get that kind of a compliment. I have struggled with patience, and am witnessing my weaknesses become my strengths.
I read "The Secret Life of Bees" on Monday. It was a good book.
Paul has homework up the you know what. He has been up until 7 or 8 every morning doing homework and still has 90 questions and 5 programs left to do. He has until next Thursday to finish. Good luck to my dear husband, I know you are working so hard. Can't wait to go swimming with you again.
We get to go to my cousin's wedding on Saturday, that will be interesting. They are having a "cousin party" all of the little kids get to play at a house and be watched while their parents are at the ceremony. That sounds great, I just hope that they watch Kacen really well, never left my kids with complete strangers. And Paul is off, so we get to go together!!

Abbi was holding a spider that fell from the ceiling and Alona got it, here is the conversation that I heard from my bedroom door....
Alona: "He's dead I squished him"
Abbi: "Can I eat him?"
Alona: "No, Spider's are gross!"
Abbi: "Hello, I am a spider!", she was pretending to talk for the spider!...and she kept going too!

Breath Taking

Memorial Day was still quite cold and rainy. Five days of rain is a little too much! The sun started to come out around 5:00. We decided to go up in to the mountains, I had heard about a waterfall in Provo Canyon and thought that would be nice to go to. So we got subway, their five dollar footlong subs. We ordered three of them for all five of us and got drinks at the gas station, a 64 oz root beer and headed up there. It was so pretty, and I forgot my camera. It was a bit chilly, a good thing that we all had our jackets. We got out of the car and found a slab of concrete to sit on across from the waterfall and ate our dinner. Alona had a six inch tuna, of which was gone about 1-2 inches, Abbi and Kacen each had a three inch grilled chicken with ranch. Kacen ate all of his sandwich and Abbi gave me her sandwich with the last few bites. She would have eaten her sandwich I swear she would have had she not caught a glimpse of the chocolate chip cookies.
The waterfall was breath taking, we watched others climb almost all the way to the top. Alona wanted to go too! We took her part way and then back down, stepping on the dry rocks where the water didn't flow so deep or so rapidly.We went back and played at the park for awhile before racing daddy home and getting ready for bed. Abbi loves under dog and being pushed high, she wanted daddy to give her his attention and push her after Kacen had his turn, he was such a giggly little boy. Alona wouldn't come inside the house at first because Dad had beaten her inside, but Paul went out the back door and around to where Alona was and raced her back in and she won. What a happy girl and a great dad!

Time Well Spent

I actually know what time Kacen wakes up now! boy was I surprised, we changed his bed from the crib in to the toddler bed and for two nights he screamed hysterically and came to bed with mom at three in the morning. Last night I put him in his bed, I tried laying with him but his fit was too horrendous so I lay on the floor next to his bed. He still screamed but he calmed down, he eventually went to sleep while still whimpering. This morning at about six, my little came out of his room and went to mommy's door and knocked and opened. He keeps getting bigger!
Here is a picture of him playing happily in his bed on Thursday morning. He was taking his own time to get used to his bed. It was much less terrifying in the day than at night when he is being forced to sleep in it.
We were walking around the block, the girls were hoping to find friends to play with. We saw Jaimie and his parents across the street having a yard sale, practically selling their stuff dirt cheap to move cross country in their car. We stopped and played with them for a good while. Abbi had fun following Jaimie around on tricycles and playing bumper wagons. She is my visiting teacher and Jaimie is one of very few children Abbi's age around here and they are moving. My other visiting teacher moved three weeks ago. It makes us all so sad seeing them all go. Another family with four children in our ward is leaving and one other family(our relief society president and Sunday school teacher) are moving out within the week.
Tonight after dinner I took the children to see their dad. They don't get to see him much. You would have to know us real well to know why. But they needed to see him, they helped to bring him dinner. Abbi brought the fork and Alona brought the catsup and the ball to play ball with her dad. They were real patient waiting outside for him, ran back and forth between the two different doors that were there wanting to go in and get him. It is the type of door that you need a special magnet card to activate the door and open it. Paul ate and they all played ball, it was so calming to have him around. Abbi and Kacen were so happy and giggly, Alona's request was fulfilled to the best of our abilities, she wants a daddy that is at home, that she can spend time with, she wants her dad to be done with school too. So she was able to spend time with him at night tonight even though he wasn't home, and of course we are still working on the rest of it. This is an activity that I think we should try to continue. After Paul had shut the door to go back up to work, Abbi was the saddest little girl. She wouldn't stop crying for daddy, the whole time home too and even when we got home she had stopped whining but was still so sad. It was nice to see that it was more tragic leaving her daddy than it was leaving grandparents.

tonights fun

my sister came over to stay the night and spent time with us before heading off to Colorado for her weekend road trip. It was so nice to have family over, to have them at our house and not have my life hectic and turned upside down for once so that I could see family.
Abbi was so excited when we pulled up from ballet and their van was already here. She ran in to the house and before I knew it Alona was running to me yelling at me about what had happened and yep she was right. I looked over and saw that Gabe already had his birthday present, his opened birthday present. Abbi knew that she would get to give him the present, she just didn't know that others wanted to watch. She was cute, the expression on her face was endearing. She loves her cousin that is the same age as her and was so happy that she got to give it to him. Gabe was told to give her a hug and Abbi got the hug for giving him the present.

Kacen's words today:

baby-he loves to play with the baby dolls with his sisters, he is a very sweet, sensitive boy. He rocks them and pushes them in the stroller.
book- (gook), Aunt Crystal was over tonight and the little boys were looking at books and Kacen said it!
Abbi- (Abba) Kacen finally ventured to say Abbi's name music to my ears. The sister that he loves to laugh with can finally be called by name!

it's

Words: bubbles- he liked playing in the bubbles today. We had a bowl of dish soap water on the floor, so much better for him to play with, he really enjoyed it and Alona liked helping mom clean while scrubbing the floor. Though she mentioned that she enjoyed mopping better.
Pup Pup-Kacen says pup pup for puppy. When he sees a dog, hears one or plays with a stuffed puppy. Which is quite often.
Cereal- when we are at the table to eat breakfast, he keeps pointing and saying cereal until I fill his bowl.
Chex-he calls the cereal life "chex" it is square just like chex.
"it's on", "it's off", "it's hot"he is now able to do phrases with the word it's... he surprises me every day with a new one.
WET-"it's wet" Kacen got sprayed with the sprinklers, he went out side after it stopped raining and got sprayed he came running to his daddy practically in tears. Saying that "it's wet!"

Yesterday we they were playing outside while I was getting ready to go to the grocery store. I realized hey, they all let me do their hair! So I grabbed the camera. And took their picture, On Sunday before church I decided to cut Kacen's hair. His hair was getting long and the past few days were so hot, yesterday while driving home from the grocery store the van read 90 degrees. So I thought that it was a good time for a summer hair cut. He didn't like the motorized clippers very well. The noise really scared him, he was good enough for me to use the scissors to cut his hair. And yesterday I used gel and hair spray! His hair was spiked, I have a little boy that I can spike his hair!!! Abbi is just the cutest little girl and when she has me do her hair it looks like she actually belongs to someone, and I am so glad that she belongs to me! Her braids are so cute, and Alona let me put pig tails in her hair. So today it was raining like crazy, isn't Utah weather just fun, for the past three days or so it has been a scorcher and today a down pour, we were able to play inside of a neighbor's house and go to the church for exercising.
It was interesting, the instructor was having us do karate, from the little bit that she took and remembered. I remembered the karate that I had took and remembered and realized that I knew many of the names of the moves that had escaped the instructor's mind. And I loved re-living it all, I remembered that I really enjoyed doing karate. The flexibility, the movements, remembering the different katas it was all good and felt good.
While we were playing at the neighbor's house, the little two year old that was there, kept going to the little potty. Kacen is actually about the same height, it was fun to realize that but to me he still seems so little. He went in to their bathroom and sat on their little potty and didn't want to leave it. He realized what it was for. When we got home I went to his bedroom and got out the little potty that we own and for the first time ever I put on the pee guard so that nothing would get on the floor and I placed it in the bathroom. I helped him with his pants and he sat down, I came back a few minutes later and he had gone potty!! He was trying to get it out of the little toilet just like the neighbors had and managed to take the little potty apart. Wow he really is getting bigger!

At The Heart Of It

My birthday was good. It started off like any regular day, with a little extra cleaning than normal. I did 2 loads of laundry, dishes, sweeping. vacuuming, getting the children fed and dressed and then of course was late to aerobics at the church. I brought the weights that I had bought on Monday at target and they didn't use them, maybe tomorrow they will.
We went home, I hurried and changed out of my clothes and changed into my jeans and a relaxing t-shirt and hurried off to play group a few miles down the road. They had asked us to bring a snack that our children enjoy to share with the other children. I was thinking what in the heck am I supposed to do, I don't have any snacks. I started thinking what is in my cupboard, I have maybe a handful of pretzels in the cupboard. That certainly will not feed ten children. I opened the fridge, Oh wait, I have oranges. I peeled one the other day and my children just left it on the table and didn't eat a single bite. I can bring these! And I did, and the adults loved them! Some of the other snacks were, kix cereal which was best loved by the 14 month old little girl, rice krispie treats, capri suns and fruit snacks. My visiting teacher asked me, "Have you gotten any good presents yet?" I told her no, well its a good thing that its not your birthday yet. I just let her keep talking for a minute before I told her that it was my birthday. "I thought that your birthday was on the 15th." Nope, my birthday is on the 14th!
We stayed at the park for a long time, I was avoiding my birthday. We came home had lunch, and Paul woke up and shortly after his mom came. We were able to stop and get a quick bite at the Olive Garden. It is not worth it anymore, a lunch at Olive Garden is between 7.00 and 15.00, ridiculous. I was thinking that I wanted to try their never ending soup, salad and bread sticks. So I get there and look at their menu and their soups just sound really gross to me. So I told Paul to order for me, he ordered chicken penini for me, it was pretty good. Though I have a small stomach, so I think that it is just ridiculous that they won't let you do a half order on a meal that you order.
We then went to where we (I) had planned all along, onward and upward to Timpanogos cave. So, it costs $17.00 for the whole thing, WOW! It costs $3.00 for a vehicle to enter the canyon and then $7 a person to go up in to the cave. Though I guess that a person could hike all the way up there and then turn around and go back down without going in to the caves to save money, the thought crossed my mind. Though it was so amazing and beautiful and I am glad that I didn't miss it. It is a mile and a half hike one way, and on the way up my legs were burning horribly, my heart was beating soo fast and I was having a real hard time catching my breath. It took us 40 minutes to hike up the trail to the cave, and on the way down it only took us twenty minutes, going down hill my legs wanted to just keep going, it was kind of fun. I am one to freak out about heights and boy was I freaked out looking over the edge of the side of the mountain at times.
On the way up the trail, we walked by a few of these huge piles of snow. We got a picture of Paul up against one of them. Paul is what like six foot tall, so just imagine, this wall of snow is about nine to ten feet tall. The Park Guide when we had got to the entrance of the cave said that just last week there was eight feet of snow at the entrance of the cave in front of the door. They weren't sure if they would be able to open on time. There are actual three caves, the first was Hansen cave which was the first one that was discovered, Martin Hansen was the man that discovered it and his grandsons discovered the second cave when Martin was in his 70's. We walked through a couple of rock walls. In the caves, it was amazing different rock formations were hanging from the walls and from the ceilings, there were pools of water in places and coloration throughout, green, red, white, brown. Red from Iron, brown from mud and sometimes other minerals, one of the formations was named caramel falls because of how it looked like caramel had been poured over the top.
The heart of Timpanogos is the most amazing thing. There is a story or two behind it and it is also lit by a red light, lit up like a real heart, the park guide even started flickering the light on off so that the heart of Timpanogos was beating. It is the biggest stalactite, the "heart" measures approximately 5.5 feet in length and is about 1 cubic yard in volume. There are beaded helictites and quill anthodite found on a wall quite close to the heart. In the first cave and throughout some of the others there are some stones called "flow stones", where the limestone has been covered by calcium deposits and it can be pitch black and you turn on a light, well the Park guide turned on his flashlight and put it next to the flow stone and it lit up you could see the light shine through it.
The tour in the cave is half a mile long, and really didn't seem like it, because it took almost an hour long and you were stopping every few seconds and were talking about what we were seeing. In the mile and a half hike up to the caves we gained 1,065 feet, thats pretty awesome.
We tried to hurry home to our children, had to stop to get them dinner that took longer than I would I would have liked. I got up to the deli and told the lady that I would like the tater babies with my chicken meal. That will be another five minutes at least as she sticks them in the cooker. Okay so I wait my five minutes and then I stand there seeing that it is about to beep and am waiting for her to hand me my food, she packages the tater babies, puts them in a bag and hands them to the people standing to the left of me. Ooh I was upset, those people had come after me and yet they get their food before me. We had called Marta after we were done hiking and now it was an hour later and we weren't home yet.
Our kids were so excited when we got home. Kacen was doing a little dance, he was so hungry. He wanted us to open the bags and just let him dig in. He used his hands on the jello parfait and loved the tater babies and catsup. Abbi was about the tater babies, chicken and cantaloupe; Alona of course loved the fruit has nothing to do with anything that involves catsup and loves chicken. I also got this raspberry cheesecake pudding looking thing that tasted okay, Alona really loved it. We had a picnic outside the back door, it was nice.
The girls and their daddy cleaned up and made mommy a cake, we had baths while I made the frosting and they put the candles in for me. They sang to me, we ate and then we went to put them to bed. Alona was so ridiculously tired, she ran out of the room crying while I was trying to read scriptures and then when she came back she wanted me to read, I told her that I had already finished reading. So she was wailing for me to read to her, so in the dark I read a church book to her and then Abbi was all teary eyed and asked her mommy to lie down with her. I lay next to Abbi, put my arm over her and about two seconds later I look over and she is Sound asleep! I am able to get out of her bed with not so much of a flinch from her. It was 9:55 by the time that I walked out of their room and passed the kitchen, my children normally go to bed around 8:00!
